Our microfibre fill quilt doonas are a machine washable product, Warm wash using a mild liquid or powder detergent, avoid adding bleach or whiteners to the wash, tumble dry on a low setting, or you can line dry if you have the space to do this, easy to maintain quilt doona.

Our Box End Quilt Doona is Designed to fit neatly on standard bed sizes, are great to use when triple sheeting, no more bulky corners like a standard square quilt Doona can have when triple sheeting.

What is Microfibre – is a synthetic fibre, finer than one denier or thread, having a diameter of less than ten micrometres, smaller than the diameter of a strand of silk. Most common types of microfibers are made from a blend of polyesters and polyamides. The combinations of synthetic fibers are selected for specific characteristics, including softness, toughness, absorption, and electrostatics, filtering capabilities.

The sateen satin stripe white quilt cover could naturally withstand wrinkles and can endure hundreds of wash and dry cycles. It also has the same silky luxury as original satin, excluding the high cost or fragility of the latter fabric.

KNOW YOUR BED SHEETS
Sheeting fabric is made up of fibers running in two directions at right angles to each other, known as the warp and the weft. The warp runs lengthwise and the weft runs across the width. The threads are combined during the weaving process.
What is?
Carded cotton is cotton that has been prepared for spinning into threads or yarns, carded cotton is the most common used yarn, and it is the most adaptable, durable and least expensive yarn.
Homogeneous blend – is a combination in which the composition of all elements is uniform throughout the blend.
Sateen is a fabric made using a satin weave structure but made with a spun yarns instead of filament. The sheen and softer feel of sateen is produced through the satin weave structure. The long floats produce a surface that is smooth to the touch.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend washing your bed linen separately and before use, in a cool/warm machine wash. Wash before are your bed linen has been handled during manufacturing and has been in a stored environment and therefore could be dusty.
Avoid chlorine bleach & brighteners – While chlorine is a great stain remover and whitener, it can significantly reduce the life of your bed linen by damaging and weakening the fibers. Instead, use an oxygen-based bleach/whitener or spot-treat the stains. Avoid optical brighteners as they can affect the whiteness of your bed linen.

The fabric’s colorfastness is enhanced through Vat Dye, making it resistant to color loss in hot washes or when in contact with bleach-based products. However, washing with optical brighteners may affect the color.
